"As someone who was relatively new to exercise, I found a nurturing environment as a private personal training client at PFS. Over time, my confidence grew, and I began to attend group classes. Amy and Meg strive to create a fun and safe atmosphere, where individual accomplishments are recognized. New workouts keep me coming back every week and, as a someone in her 60s, I love listening to the uplifting contemporary music that they play! The community at PFS has encouraged me to take my fitness goals outside of the studio and I've completed several 5K races. If I could compare PFS to anything it would be "Cheers," where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came."

"I went to Personalized Fitness Solutions to get myself going on a workout program before it was too late. But what I got was a whole lot more. Amy GiaQuinto, my trainer, has helped me to find the motivation deep within me to start a process of physical transformation that is affecting every area of my life in such a positive way. She is such an upbeat and positive person who zeroed in immediately on how hard I am on myself and how little fun I was having exercising."

"With Amy's help I have had such an attitude adjustment that started in the body. It feels so good to be exercising regularly and correctly and not to excess. I now love exercising and, in fact, look forward to it. I love the energy and strength it brings to me and the sense of accomplishment I feel as a result. Bring the body -- the heart and mind follows!"

"When I first began working with Amy GiaQuinto as my personal trainer, I had been suffering from Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for over ten years. Her vibrant personality, abounding good cheer and obvious enthusiasm for her work were contagious and, within no time, I found myself looking forward to our thrice weekly workouts. And, most amazingly, within weeks, the pain and fatigue had abated, and my whole outlook on life had improved."

"Not to mention, I discovered that coordination and balance can be learned, with the assistance of a knowledgeable and supportive teacher. Her natural gift at being able to "read" people and put a specialized program together for each individual to reach their specific goals, allows for a truly personalized program. In this age of mass-franchise operations and their standardized one-size-fits-all approach, it is refreshing to see and experience Amy's unique level of individualized training, tailored to each client's specific needs and desires. Today I feel strong, healthy and have more energy than I have had in many years. My sleep has improved dramatically and the pain and fatigue are kept in check."

"I've struggled with shoulder problems for more than two years. Amy has been the first person whose work has made a strong definite improvement in the health and function of my shoulders. She is very knowledgeable about the workings of the body, very pleasurable to work with, strongly motivating, knows when to push you and when to be supportive, and she gives great analogies to help you understand what you are trying to accomplish."

"Many times during my lifetime (79 years) I have started a weight-training program. I had always quit after three or four sessions due to boredom, pain in my joints or not knowing how to do it correctly. But in June of 2003, I started a weight-training program with Amy, and weight training became a very important part of my life. My workouts become enjoyable as well as beneficial.I have severe arthritis in my lower back, knees and shoulders. I have had arthroscopic surgery on my right shoulder. Amy designed my program and showed me how to perform the exercises so that I never had pain. I gained so much from her training because she took into account my personal situation: age, physical condition, limitations, etc.

I moved down to North Carolina in the fall of 2003 where I joined a gym, but I did not use it very much. My trainer was competent, well trained, conscientious and experienced, but the program she worked out for me was more suitable for a 22-year old football player. I have since taken up ball room dancing, where I can put a number of the skills Amy had taught me to use, such as the correct way to transition my body weight and proper posture and breathing. Having Amy as my personal trainer is one of the best things that has ever happened to me."
